Manufacturer support pages and manuals come first. Product documentation comes next. Community reports are useful for discovering edge cases but are labeled as such and do not overwrite official diagnostics.
Compatibility claims
A remote, keypad, sensor or board is not marked compatible unless the relationship can be traced to a manufacturer compatibility resource or model documentation.
Updates
When a manufacturer changes firmware behavior, support guidance or compatibility, the affected record should carry a new verification date and the old assumption should be removed.
